Momentum Changes Everything

Mar 15, 2026
Connect

As we move deeper into March, I’ve been reflecting on how quickly time moves.

It feels like the year just started, yet in only two more months we’ll already be halfway through the year. Life moves fast. Time moves fast.

But here is something powerful I want to remind you of:

We can move with it.

Even when life is not exactly what we want it to be right now, we still have a choice. We can choose to look for opportunities where others may not look. We can choose to take action every single day toward who we want to become and what we want to leave behind as a legacy for the next generation.

So much can change in one year.

When we stay in momentum, take consistent action, invest in the right mentors, and protect our mindset, incredible things can happen.

Our thoughts shape our reality.
Our actions shape our future.

Even on the frustrating days, maintaining the right mindset and attitude is the work.

I want you to know something from my heart:

I love you.
I believe in you.
And I know you are capable of doing great things.

You deserve good things. You were created to live in good health and prosperity, even as your soul prospers.

Family

On a personal note, I have some exciting family news.

Jamar? has been accepted to two colleges so far. We are still waiting to hear back from two more schools before he makes his final decision.

As a mom, this season is emotional, exciting, and a little surreal. Watching your child step into adulthood is a beautiful milestone.

Once he makes his decision about where he will attend and what major he chooses, I’ll be excited to share that update with you.

So stay tuned.

To All the Moms This Spring Break

Spring break is here, and I know many of you are navigating the same reality I am.

You’re a parent.
You’re working.
You’re running a household.
And you’re still trying to create meaningful moments with your children.

Being a mom of three, I understand the balancing act.

To all the parents out there managing work and family this week, I’m sending you love, grace, and encouragement.

You’re doing better than you think.

Holding On to Peace in Times of Uncertainty
As we move through the month of March, I’ve been reflecting deeply on something important. Uncertainty. Life and business both come with seasons where we cannot control everything that happens around us. As business owners, caregivers, and people who serve others, we often carry responsibility that goes far beyond ourselves. People are watching us. Our teams. Our families. Our communities. They ...
They’re Watching More Than We Think
The Lesson I Didn’t See Coming There is always a lesson in every season. These past few weeks, I’ve been learning something profound — and it came through my daughter. I noticed something. When I am tired but push through anyway, ignoring what my body is telling me, she does the same. When I say, “I’m fine,” even though I need rest, she mirrors that. But when I pause and say, “I’m tired, I nee...
Learning to Let Go, Growing Forward, and What’s Next
Learning to Let Go — Slowly We’re planning summer. New travels. New experiences. New memories. And I’m adjusting to something I didn’t fully prepare my heart for — my soon-to-be adult son saying he’s not coming. He will officially be an adult before summer, and while part of me wants to say, “You’re coming because you’re my child,” I know he deserves to be treated like the man he is becoming. ...
