Entering a New Season With Intention
As the year comes to a close, I’ve been slowing down to review what truly matters — priorities, rhythms, and the kind of life I want to live while serving at a higher level.
Right now, I’m planning family trips, refining our family routines, and being intentional about self-care and rest. One of our long-term family goals is to visit all 50 states — we’ve already covered many, but we still have a lot more to explore.
One strategy we’re excited about for 2026 is shifting how we celebrate birthdays. Instead of gifts or parties, each person will choose a state to visit for their birthday. Experiences over things. Memories over moments. Legacy over convenience.
I’m also building a family-first calendar for 2026 — and then, from that place of alignment, serving my clients even more deeply and intentionally.
Rest days are now non-negotiable.
You can’t pour from an empty cup — and leadership requires sustainability.
Faith, Tradition, and Preparation
As we prepare for the new year, I’m also honoring tradition.
I’ll be preparing Soup Joumou — the Haitian pumpkin soup traditionally made on January 1st, a symbol of freedom, resilience, and new beginnings.
I’ll also be entering the new year with fasting and prayer — asking God for clarity, alignment, discipline, and obedience for what’s next.
One personal goal I’m stepping back into is returning to church on Sundays. My relationship with God has deepened, but I know there is power in worshipping in community. There’s nothing like being surrounded by brothers and sisters in faith.

The change may not happen overnight — but momentum will never let you down.
Surround yourself with people who stretch you.
Believe that you are capable of more.
Trust that you are worthy of the life you’re building.
You are loved.
You are worthy.
