This Season Has Been Teaching Me So Much

The Human Experience Is Messy... and Beautiful
Lately, life has been reminding me that we're all simply doing our best while living the human experience.
Some days are filled with victories.
Other days feel like you've fallen flat on your face.
And then there are the days that are a little bit of both.
I've learned not to resist those seasons quite as much anymore.
Instead, I try to remind myself that we are all spirits having a human experience, and every season—whether joyful or challenging—is shaping who we're becoming.
A Personal Update
A few newsletters ago, I shared that I'd been learning more about perimenopause.
Since then, I've started treatment and have been working closely with a physician who specializes in women's health.
One interesting thing I've learned is that having my tubes tied when I was 32 may have played a role in entering this season of life earlier than I expected.
I'm still learning.
I'm still asking questions.
And I'm still listening to my body.
Over the coming weeks, I'll continue sharing my journey, including the treatments I'm trying, what seems to be helping, and what I'm learning along the way.
If you've walked this road before, I'd love to hear from you.
And if you're curious about the treatments I'm taking or would like me to share more, simply reply to this email. I'd be happy to continue the conversation.
One thing I've realized is that far too many women go through this season feeling alone.
If sharing my journey helps even one person feel seen, then it's worth it.
A Very Special First
This week also brought a beautiful blessing...
I became a godmother for the very first time.
What an incredible honor.

Leah (my daughter) and Chloe (my god-daughter)
It reminded me that life isn't only measured by our accomplishments or titles.
Sometimes it's measured by the trust people place in us.
The opportunity to love.
To guide.
To encourage.
To help shape another life.
That responsibility means the world to me.
Living With Intention
One thought has stayed with me recently.
No matter who we are...
No matter what we've accomplished...
No matter how much money we earn...
Or how many people know our name...
One day, every one of us will leave this earth.
We all have an expiration date.
The only difference is that none of us knows when that day will come.
Oddly enough, I don't find that thought discouraging.
I find it incredibly freeing.
It reminds me to love harder.
Serve harder.
Forgive faster.
Laugh more.
Spend time with my family.
Help people whenever I can.
Leave every room, every conversation, and every person just a little better than I found them.
Because at the end of the day, our greatest legacy won't be what we owned.
It will be how we made people feel.
So if you're facing a difficult season right now...
Please know this:
I'm cheering for you.
I believe in you.
And I hope you never stop believing that better days are ahead.
