To the Version of You That No One Sees Yet
Inside our last ALF Thriving Circle Community session, I shared something very personal.
There was a time when shifting my mindset felt harder than anything else I had ever done.
I was working a demanding full-time job.
I was a mom of very small children.
Money was tight.
The house needed cleaning.
The responsibilities were heavy.
Some nights I had to choose between cleaning my house or sitting in front of my computer to do the work required to change my life.
And sometimes I felt judged.
How are you working on something that doesn’t yet exist while your reality looks like this?
But I knew something.
Before anything around me could change, I had to change first.
That is one of the loneliest places to be. When you see the version of you that is successful, disciplined, wealthy, organized, free — but no one else sees her yet.
If you are in that place right now, I want you to know:
I understand you.
I have been you.
And you are not crazy.
You are becoming.
I cannot promise you how long it will take. But I can promise you this — you will meet that other version of you. And when you do, you will be so proud.
Everything worth having requires a new version of you who can receive it.
So keep pushing. Keep working. Even if no one understands yet.

Family Is Not Optional
This weekend is a three-day weekend for many, and I’m intentionally blending family time with work responsibilities.
Sometimes we can be heroes to everyone else — clients, community, social media — and leave the people who love us waiting.
Don’t let that happen.
Find your middle ground.
Let your family be the non-negotiable part of your calendar. Show up for them the way you show up for everyone else. And do not forget yourself in the process.
If you cannot take care of yourself, you cannot take care of anyone else.
